Past week, Immanuel became another ITIL 4 certified student of iCertify Training NYC after he successfully passed the ITIL 4 Foundation Certification exam on his first attempt. Immanuel prepared for the exam with the Udemy course Complete ITIL 4 Foundation: 40+ Videos 100+ Qs (Axelos ATO).

Here are his testimony about the ITIL 4 Foundation certification exam and here is what he had to say. Get an idea on how to pass your ITIL 4 Foundation Certification on the 1st attempt!

1- ) How long did you study for the certification?

Truly speaking, it took approximately seven months. Due to the pandemic, I was really worried about whether this is the right time to sit for the exam. The first three months were more to prepare mentally and gather material for the exam. Once I booked my exam date, it automatically motivated me to study with a plan to be the best. It was quite a rigorous schedule while balancing between work and quarantined life.

2- ) What was the biggest struggle when preparing for the ITIL exam?

While preparing for the ITIL exam, I noticed the content considerably uses IT industry terminology. It took me some time to build an index and reference it back to my words. Also, I joined a small group of students who were having a study group in FB, motivating each other to keep going.

3- ) How was the quality of ITIL 4 training guide materials?

I must say ITIL® 4 Foundation Certification Guide available in Amazon is one of the best materials I have seen so far, especially the simulator. It helped me a lot both in understanding basic concepts and to prepare for the ITIL 4 Foundation exam.

4- ) How much similar were the questions in the real exam when you considered?

Of course, no questions were the same. However, the pattern & length of the questions were quite similar. So I can say that the sample questions I followed were very realistic, thus helpful.

5- ) How many sample ITIL 4 exam questions did you practice before the exam?

I completed all 6 ITIL simulation exams in ITIL 4 Foundation: Practice Certification Exams provided by iCertify Training. I believe, these are sufficient practice questions to check the preparation for the certification exam. Along with these questions, I also practiced with free sample exams from various sites and my FB study group.

6- ) How was the support you received throughout the ITIL training?

I received great help and support almost instantly. The responses on my queries were simple to understand rather than a copy/paste snippet of a book. The team behind iCertify Student support is great in responding back.

7- ) How did you take the examination?

One of my better decisions was to purchase the Online Proctored Examination Voucher from iCertify Training NYC. Not only did I saved my $100 from the retail price, but I was also able to take the exam from my house especially because of the hard times we are in. Make a smart choice and purchase your voucher from an ATO.

8- ) How COVID – 19 effected you and your preparation?

To be very honest, initially, I was very depressed. No one ever thought this to happen. But after a week or 2, I realized this is one of the best things that happened to me. It gave me the discipline of not going out and channel all my focus into ITIL Certification. I gave my all into the certification. I was not willing to give in to this pandemic situation.

9- ) Do you have any recommendations for future ITIL candidates?

Few recommendations for future ITIL aspiring candidates from my end are:

10- ) Do you have any tips for the exam day?

Here are a few tips that might be useful during the ITIL exam:

  • Take a deep breath & start your exam, you will be fine.
  • Read the question carefully. Relate with relevant knowledge area and process group, that will lead you to the correct answer.
  • Keep an eye on your time out. At least save 10 mins to review your mark questions.

11- ) If you would give 3 tips to your close friend about ITIL certification, what would you recommend as part of your Pass Tips?

1) Practice mock tests until you start getting at least 80 – 85% in three consecutive tests.

2) Discussion helps, let it be with other experienced individuals or on the chat forums.

3) Don’t stress taking mock tests on the day before the exam. This time can be well utilized to summarize your handwork.

12- ) Finally, how likely is it that you would recommend iCertify Training to a friend or colleague?

With my positive result in the exam, swiftness of use, and prompt response from experts when in doubts, I would highly recommend iCertify’s name to all my friends and colleagues.
