The Tale of Two Professionals

On a beautiful late spring afternoon, ten years ago, two young men graduated from the same college. They were very much alike, these two young men. Both had been better than average students, both were personable and both-as young students- were filled with ambitious dreams for the future.

Recently, they met at their company’s annual summit with their families.They were still very much alike, both were happily married with young children and had never left the company they joined from college.

But there was one difference. One of the professional was a manager of a small team while the other was the Vice President.
